The other Lenovo H210 is running Linux Mint 8 at the moment and is also sharing the office printer across my home network. Both latops (Windows and Linux) as well as both desktops (Windows and Linux) are able to print to it effortlessly due to the CUPS program running on the box itself. It’s also doubling as a file server of sorts that I can access from my Mint 8 laptop when needed but that’s soon to change when I get my home file server up and going soon. I don’t have any apps/programs in particular installed on it just yet as most of my computer usage is done from my laptop but, that can change.

This particular Lenovo is a 32 bit system and has the following specs:

  • Intel Pentium Dual Core E2200
  • 3GB RAM (800MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-6400)
  • 320 GB 7200 rpm hard disk
  • DVD/CD burner
  • Video Memory 286 MB Shared
  • Spare hard drive bay
  • Media Card reader
