I’m a classic rock music lover from way back. Seems that’s pretty much all I listened to when I was growing up. I remember watching Elvis when he came on TV. All they showed of him was from the waist up back then because society thought he was vulgar the way he danced around. Ha! If they saw how folks danced now, they’d think we all were vulgar heathens!

I remember too when the Beatles first came on the Ed Sullivan Show. It was awesome. They took the country by storm after that show. Not to mention they took my mind and we went on an amazing ‘Magic Carpet Ride’ in the ‘Yellow Submarine’.

Yes, I know ‘Magic Carpet Ride’ is from Steppenwolf. My meaning is that with the revolution of what is now called classic rock music, my life was full of energy, experiences and good times. It still is today to some extent as it’s still my preferred music of choice.
